Today 1.3.2011 in the afternoon gusts of bora on Primorska will start exceeding speeds of 100 km per hour. The bora will strengthen further during the night to Wednesday 2.3.2011 and by the night to Thursday it will mainly on Goriška and Vipavska in exposed locations reach speeds over 160 km per hour in gusts, on the Coast around 100 km per hour. It will weaken presumably by Thursday morning.
Due to the strong bora the highest, i.e. red alarm level has been declared on Primorska.
