The mountain hut is located in country Austria 3 km west-northwest from the center of Tschengla and 4 km west-northwest from the center of Bürserberg and 0.3 km south-southeast of peak Schwarzkopf. The nearest peak is Schwarzkopf, which is located 0.3km severo-severozahodno. West of the mountain hut is the valley Gamperdonatal.
