The nearest mountain hut is Höchsterhütte am Grünsee - Rifugio Canziani al Lago Verde, located 3km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Malga Caldesa alta. 5 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Zufrittferner - Vedretta di Gioveretto, 5 km northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Soyferner - Vedretta di Soi. The saddle is located above the valley Valle di Montechiesa.
