Description:
Forcella del Frate is a saddle at an altitude of 2100 meters located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The saddle is located 1.6 km north-northeast of peak Cridola (Cima est). The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Giaf, located 3km southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Bivacco Aldo e Miranda Vaccari, which is located 0.8km to the south. South-southeast of the saddle is the valley Val Meluzzo.
