Forcella Rua Alta is a saddle at an altitude of 2145 meters located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The saddle to which the marked trail leads is located 6 km south-southwest from the center of Forni di Sopra and 9 km west-southwest from the center of Forni di Sotto. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Nino Flaiban e Fabio Pacherini, located 1.8km north. A little closer is bivouac Bivacco Casera Pramaggiore, which is located 0.9km to the south-southeast. The saddle is located north of the valley Val Settimana.
