Hirschkogelsattel is a saddle at an altitude of 882 meters and is part of the Upper Austrian Prealps. The saddle is located 10 km west-southwest from the center of Nach der Enns and 10 km south from the center of Lumplgraben and 4 km northwest of peak Bodenwies. The nearest mountain hut is Anlaufalm, located 0.9km west. Tiefbodenhütte (Jagdhütte) is also relatively close. The monument Georg Garstenauer is also located on the saddle. East-southeast of the saddle is the valley Frenzgraben.
