And bivouac Bivacco Massimo Nella is also close by. 3 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Vedretta di Nardis, 6 km west-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Vedretta Cercen. The saddle is located above the valley Val d'Amola.
