The saddle is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Caltrano and 5 km south-southeast from the center of Cesuna. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Bar Alpino - Pozza del Favero, located 1.5km north-northwest. A little closer is bivouac Ex Malga Lovarezze, which is located 1.2km to the north-northwest. Northeast of the saddle is the valley Val Miela.
