The saddle is located 6 km southeast from the center of Ospitaletto and 6 km south-southeast from the center of Ligonchio and 3 km east of peak Monte Sillano. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Bargetana, located 1.9km east-southeast. And bivouac Ricovero il Piano is also close by.
