Planja-Sattel is a saddle at an altitude of 1902 meters located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The saddle to which the marked trail leads is located 3 km southwest from the center of Valbruna/Ovčja vas and 4 km south-southeast from the center of Malborghetto. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Fratelli Grego, located 2km south. A little further is bivouac Ricovero Armando Bernardinis. Southeast of the saddle is the valley Valbruna.
