The peak is located in country Austria 3 km north-northwest from the center of Frein an der Mürz and 7 km east from the center of Halltal. The nearest mountain hut is Göllerhütte, located 5km northeast. Closer is Drescherhütte, which is located 1.3km to the south. The peak is located west of the valley Saugraben.
