Description:
Buchbergkogel is 1700 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located in country Austria 6 km north from the center of Tragöß - Oberort and 7 km north from the center of Tal. The nearest mountain hut is Häuslalm Hütte, located 0.7km northwest. bivouac Fleischer-Biwak is a bit further away. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Höllgraben.
