Cima Formenton

Description:
Cima Formenton is 2830 meter high peak located in the Dolomites mountain range. The peak is located 6 km west-northwest from the center of Cortina d'Ampezzo and 8 km northwest from the center of Zuel di Sopra and 1.1 km north-northeast of peak Tofana di Dentro. The nearest mountain hut is Camillo Giussani, located 2km south-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Bivacco Baracca degli Alpini, which is located 0.4km to the southwest. Northeast of the summit is the valley Höhlensteintal - Val di Landro.
