Elsenkopf is 1940 meter high peak with a registration box and a cross and is part of the Bregenz Forest Mountains. The peak is located 1.9 km north-northeast from the center of Damüls and 6 km north from the center of Fontanella. The nearest mountain hut is Franz-Josef-Hütte, located 3km south. Gampernestalpe is a bit further away. South of the summit is the valley Great Walser Valley.
