Feuerstein is 2271 meter high peak and is part of the Lechquellen Mountains. The peak is located 1.8 km north-northwest of peak Bratschenkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Göppinger Hütte, located 3km east-southeast. A little further is Litehütte (Jagdhütte). West-northwest of the summit is the valley Great Walser Valley.
