Gallitzinberg is 388 meter high peak and is part of the Vienna Woods. The peak is located 6 km south-southeast from the center of Weidlingbach and 7 km east-southeast from the center of Steinbach. The nearest mountain hut is Kammersteinerhütte, located 12km south-southwest. Closer is Wolfsblick, which is located 5km to the south-southeast. 0.5 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Heschteich. Northeast of the summit is the valley Wiener Pforte.
