Description:
Gappenriedel is 839 meter high peak and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 3 km south-southeast from the center of Polzberg and 5 km east from the center of Lunz am See. The nearest mountain hut is Herrenalm, located 6km south. Closer is Jagdhütte, which is located 3km to the southeast. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Kothbergtal.
