Glimitzerkogel is 1100 meter high peak and is part of the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located 1.2 km east from the center of Unterort and 2 km southeast from the center of Pichl-Großdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Lengger Alm, located 5km north-northeast. A little further is Hech Hütte. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Höllgraben.
