Description:
Großer Schober is 1815 meter high peak in the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located 5 km south of peak Hochstadl. The nearest mountain hut is Sackwiesenalm, located 6km south. A bit closer is Harrimanhütte, which is located 1.4km to the south-southwest. East of the summit is the valley Höllgraben.
