Description:
Großer Turm is 2830 meter high peak and is part of the mountain group Rätikon. The peak is located 9 km south-southwest from the center of Vandans and 9 km southwest from the center of Tschagguns near the border with Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Lindauer Hütte, located 2km east-northeast. A little further is Gauertalhaus. West-northwest from the summit there is glacier Eistobel. North of the summit is the valley Rellstal.
