Hagauerkogel is 963 meter high peak in the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km north-northeast from the center of Wildalpen and 9 km northeast from the center of Hinterwildalpen. The nearest mountain hut is Brunnecker Hütte, located 5km northwest. Closer is Peterhütte (Jhtt.), which is located 3km to the west-northwest. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Im Tiefen Grund.
