Hinterer Föhrenberg is 581 meter high peak and is part of the Vienna Woods. The peak is located 2 km east from the center of Kaltenleutgeben and 2 km north-northwest from the center of Gießhübl. At the top there is also mountain hut Kammersteinerhütte. And Pflügerhütte is also close by. The peak is located east-southeast of the valley Lattergraben.
