Description:
Hochschwab is 2277 meter high peak and is part of the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located 8 km north-northwest from the center of Sankt Ilgen and 10 km west from the center of Seewiesen. The nearest mountain hut is Schiestlhaus, located 0.6km northeast. And bivouac Fleischer-Biwak is also close by. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Höllgraben.
