Hochtraten

Description:
Hochtraten is 1650 meter high peak in the Gailtal Alps. The peak is located 1.6 km north-northeast from the center of Techendorf and 3 km northwest from the center of Naggl. The nearest mountain hut is Alm Hinterm Brunn, located 2km east. bivouac Urschitzhütte is a bit further away. The peak is located southwest above the mountain pasture Gaiacher Alm. Northwest of the summit is the valley Rottensteiner Tal and southwest above the mountain pasture Gaiacher Alm.
