Description:
Hoher Stein is 772 meter high peak. The peak is located 3 km south-southeast from the center of Kollerschlag and 5 km south-southwest from the center of Peilstein im Mühlviertel. The nearest mountain hut is Öttl-Hütte, located 12km southwest. Closer is Schihütte, which is located 4km to the northeast. South of the summit is the valley Schlögener Schlinge.
