Höherstein

Description:
Höherstein is 1118 meter high peak and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 5 km north of peak Dürrenstein. The nearest mountain hut is Herrenalm, located 3km south-southeast. Closer is Jagdhütte Gamseck, which is located 1.1km to the west-southwest. 0.5 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Mittersee. Northwest of the summit is the valley Kothbergtal.
