Hollerriegel is 552 meter high peak and is part of the Vienna Woods. The peak is located 5 km northeast of peak Schöpfl. The nearest mountain hut is Falkensteiner Hütte, located 1.5km west-northwest. And Rohrhütte is also close by. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Triestingtal.
