Hütterkogel is 836 meter high peak in the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 3 km south-southeast from the center of Wirts and 3 km southwest from the center of Kreilhof. The nearest mountain hut is Amstettner Hütte, located 4km south. A bit closer is Forsterau, which is located 3km to the southwest. The peak is located northwest of the valley Prolling.
