The nearest mountain hut is Weinbergerhaus, located 0.2km west. And Berg'k'hütte is also close by. The monument Turnvater Jahn is also located at the top. 4 km south of the peak there is lake Hintersteiner See. The peak is located above the valley Brentenjoch.
