Description:
Kesselkopf is 928 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 3 km east-northeast from the center of Sankt Gilgen and 4 km southwest from the center of Oberburgau. The nearest mountain hut is Gamswandalm, located 4km southwest. Closer is Naturfreundehütte, which is located 1.6km to the southeast. 5 km north-northwest of the peak there is lake Mondsee. The peak is located west of the valley Klausbach.
