Königsberg is 1409 meter high peak and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 1.7 km south-southeast from the center of Sattel and 3 km east-southeast from the center of Wenten. The nearest mountain hut is Kitzhütte, located 2km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Rastplatz Klaushütte. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Frenzgraben.
