Description:
Kopavnik is 375 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.0 km northeast from the center of Brezovica pri Ljubljani and 1 km south from the center of Podsmreka and 5 km southwest of peak Rožnik. The nearest mountain hut is Partizanski dom na Ključu, located 6km west. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča "Toško Čelo". South of the summit is the valley Ljubljansko barje. The peak is located on the ridge Debeli hrib.
