Lattenkopf is 2454 meter high peak and is part of the Verwall Alps. The peak is located 2 km west-northwest from the center of Ischgl and 4 km north-northeast from the center of Mathon and 1.5 km east-northeast of peak Madleinkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Darmstädter Hütte, located 4km north-northwest. A little further is Fasulhütte. 4 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Kartellferner, 4 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Großer Kuchenferner. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Fimbatal.
