Description:
Löwekogel is 797 meter high peak in the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 0.8 km north from the center of Wildalpen and 5 km northeast from the center of Hinterwildalpen. The nearest mountain hut is Brunnecker Hütte, located 8km north-northwest. A bit closer is Hirschbodenhütte (Jhtt.), which is located 5km to the south-southwest. The peak is located southwest of the valley Im Tiefen Grund.
