The peak is located 1.2 km south-southwest from the center of Potok pri Dornberku and 1.3 km south-southwest from the center of Tabor and 3 km east-northeast of peak Trstelj. The nearest mountain hut is Stjenkova koča na Trstelju, located 2km southwest. A little further is bivouac Dogalinova bajta. The peak is located southeast of the valley Vipavska dolina. The peak is located Kras.
