Mandra Cercen Alta is 2267 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The peak is located 11 km south-southwest from the center of Vermiglio and 12 km west-northwest of Carisolo. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Adamello Collini al Bedole, located 2km southwest. bivouac Capanna Lagoscuro is a bit further away. 1.9 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Vedretta Cercen, 3 km east from the summit there is also glacier Vedretta di Nardis.
