Marovtov vrh is 516 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 1.9 km north from the center of Ržiše and 1.9 km east from the center of Šmihel nad Mozirjem. The nearest mountain hut is Mozirska koča na Golteh, located 6km west. A bit closer is bivouac Janezov bivak, which is located 5km to the west. 7 km east of the peak there is lake Družimirsko jezero. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Mislinjski jarek.
