Mataunkopf - Cima Mataun is 2892 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Nauderer (Ski-)Hütte, located 4km northwest. A little further is bivouac Holzer Hütte. Southeast of the summit is the valley Langtauferer Tal - Vallelunga.
