Monte Are is 372 meter high peak in the mountain group Prealpi Gardesane. The peak is located 2 km west-northwest from the center of Garda and 2 km west-southwest from the center of Marciaga. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Fiori del Baldo, located 15km northeast. A bit closer is Il Cisanino, which is located 7km to the south-southeast. The peak is located west of the valley Val Lagarina.
