Description:
Monte Cavallo di Pontebba / Rosskofel is 2239 meter high peak located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located 7 km south-southwest from the center of Schlanitzen and 7 km northwest from the center of Pontebba near the border with Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Rudnig Alm, located 2km north. A bit closer is bivouac Bivacco Ernesto Lomasti, which is located 1.2km to the northwest. The peak is located northwest of the valley Val Canale.
