Monte Gamonda is 1006 meter high peak and is part of the Vicentine Alps. The peak is located 3 km northwest of peak Monte Priaforà. The nearest mountain hut is Forte Rione, located 4km south-southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Malga Zola, which is located 3km to the south. The peak is located in the valley Val Posina.
