Monte Penice is 1460 meter high peak. The peak is located 6 km west-northwest from the center of Bobbio and 7 km west-northwest from the center of Erta. The nearest mountain hut is Sci Club Bobbio, located 4km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Rifugio Casermetta.
