Ochsenberg is 350 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.2 km east-northeast from the center of Großrußbach and 1.2 km west-southwest from the center of Oberkreuzstetten. The nearest mountain hut is Buschberghütte, located 11km north-northwest. Closer is Josef-Toriser-Hütte, which is located 6km to the west-southwest. South of the summit is the valley Kreuttal.
