Ostri vrh is 950 meter high peak. The peak is located 4 km south of peak Šop (Novaška gora). The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom na Slivnici, located 7km south-southwest. A little further is Koča na Kavcu. The peak is located northwest of the valley Bloke and a marked path leads to the top.
