Palon de la Mare is 3703 meter high peak in the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 3 km south of peak Monte Cevedale. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Mantova al Vioz, located 2km southeast. Closer is bivouac Bivacco Colombo, which is located 1.5km to the north. 3 km south from the summit there is glacier Vadretta Saline, 6 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Vadretta Val Piana. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Val Taviela.
