Palon de Tovre is 1913 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The peak is located 1.1 km east-southeast of peak Croz dell'Altissimo. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio La Montanara, located 1.0km south. bivouac Malga Covelo is also relatively close. 4 km south of the peak there is lake Lago di Molveno.
