Peilstein is 718 meter high peak in the Vienna Woods. The peak is located 2 km north from the center of Neuhaus and 2 km southwest from the center of Maria Raisenmarkt. At the top there is also mountain hut Peilsteinhaus. Bergrettungshütte OSt. Triestingtal is also relatively close. South of the summit is the valley Triestingtal.
