Planspitze is 2210 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 9 km northwest from the center of Gaal and 10 km northeast from the center of Sankt Oswald. The nearest mountain hut is Bergerhube, located 7km north-northwest. A bit closer is Hölltalhütte, which is located 5km to the east-northeast.
