Poggio della Serra is 800 meter high peak. The peak is located 12 km west-southwest of Tornolo and 13 km west-southwest of Bedonia and 2 km east-northeast of peak Monte Ghiffi. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Faggio dei Tre Comuni, located 3km northeast. A little further is bivouac Rifugio Prato Grande.
