The peak is located 6 km north-northwest from the center of Vordernberg and 6 km east from the center of Eisenerz. The nearest mountain hut is Polster Schutzhaus, located 0.2km southwest. Obere Handlalm is also relatively close. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Höllgraben.
